Money to be deposited in Jan Dhan account from today, know who benefits first

CORONAVIRUS : JAN DHAN YOJANA
  • The government will add 500 rupees every month to the Jan Dhan account of poor women for next three months
  • This amount will be deposited in the women’s account between April 3 and April 9.

  • According to the rule-

    – Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 0 or 1, the money will be added to their account tomorrow i.e. on 3rd April

    – Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 2 or 3 will be credited to the account on April 4

    -The last digit of Jan Dhan accounts is 4 or 5, it will be credited into the account on April 7

    – Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 6 or 7 will be credited on April 8

    – Jan Dhan accounts whose last digit is 8 or 9 will be credited on April 9

  • 53 per cent of the total Jan Dhan accounts are in the names of women. 

  • About 200 million women will get direct benefits.
